Volunteer Opportunities

This support is critically needed

There are literally hundreds of ways of volunteering with us. Please consider becoming a foster home or volunteer with us by filling out our online volunteer application.

We currently need help with the cats who have kittens that are being dumped at the shelter. People do not realize that shelters are not designed to raise babies. Therefore, kittens and puppies are routinely euthanized if they are not of the age to be without their mother. Some shelters call the rescue groups to come get these "families" to avoid that end. Of course, we need help raising the babies until they are of age to be adopted. Can you help us? And of course, we are always in need of foster homes for dogs and puppies as well.

Help at our adoption events walking the dogs, handling the kittens, spending some one-on-one time with them and talking to the potential adopters.

We also need people to hold fundraising events such as bake sales, yard sales, etc.
