Smokey is now settled in and enjoying her life with our other cats. We've noticed during the day that she'll stalk the toys like prey. She walks around the house making squeeking noises while she's carrying them in her mouth. One morning, we found 6 toys perfectly lined up in a row, equal distance from each other like someone had measured and placed them there. I don't know how she pulled off that one but it was quite a sight to see! Anyway, she is doing well and we are so happy to have her as part of our family. As promised, she doesn't mind the other cats even when they hiss at her and she is very giving with her love and affection. We're happy to give this "senior" cat a forever home. --Sueann and Mark

It's been almost a year since we adopted Max, who had already been in multiple homes when we adopted him at 13 months of age. He has already learned sit, stay, down, and (our favorite) high-five. We're now focusing on teaching him how to walk nicely on leash. He discovered how much fun dog toys can be a few months ago, his favorite is a quacking duck. He's in for a real treat this summer: he gets to ride on our pontoon boat for the first time! --Lori S.

Leona is on the chair and Princess is on the pillow. I am enjoying them so, thanks so much. Carol O.

Gwen has a little basket of toys on the floor, and when she's ready to play, she'll pull them out, sometimes (believe it or not) even putting them back when she's all tuckered out! In the past couple weeks, she's started giving me kisses on my face; and being on my own in a new city - those are the best kisses EVER! I love her to pieces :) Thanks SO much SFTS! -- Ashley

I'm very happy with my new family! They love me so much! When we go on walks I love to greet everyone I see. I like friends! But don't be fooled. At night, I'm a guard dog. My family always feels safe when I'm around. During the day I hang out with the family's other dogs. They're a lot smaller then me, but I don't care. I love squeezing onto full couches and resting my head on whoever is next to me. At bedtime, I squeeze into bed with my owner and take up most of the space. I'm always comfortable! My special diet has had a great effect on the other dogs in the house. For treats, we all eat healthy snacks like carrots and lettuce (but sometimes they sneak me something special). Here, I even roam free in the house all the time, because I always manage to unlock the gates from room to room. I'm always goofy and I love making my family laugh. I am an excellent addition to the Fontan family. So thank you for finding me such a loving home! Love, Ozzy:)

I just wanted to thank you again for Sammi. She just got her spring hair cut yesterday so I thought I'd send her cute picture. She's such a sweet wonderful girl! --Angie D.

Stella has adjusted quite well to life at our crazy house, with one rescue mutt already and two crazy cats, she fit right in and has become a nice addition to the family. When Stella isn't chasing chipmunks across our rock wall, chasing the cats or wrestling with Mason (our other dog, 6 years old) she enjoys napping on the couch or climbing into bed and snuggling at my feet under the covers...just glad she doesn't lick them! I wish I had an old picture of her - but she was one of 8 puppies that were originally labelled as pekingese mixes, but we are starting to see more shiba inu, corgi or basenji in her - but that is part of the fun as people love to guess what she is when we walk her! --Mark and Lisa T

Lily aka Tova and Rosco share a spot in the sun for a nap. She is loved here. --Mary

I just wanted to send you a follow up to my recent adoption of Peach in January. I've renamed her Fleur. I'm so grateful for the service you provide and the care you take of the animals you take in. -- Teresa
