I am Jack, formally named Ghost. I love to chase my younger sister Jules all over the house and cuddle with my older portly sister Maggie. My mom also says I am her very special one-eyed Jack because I love to talk to her by making my special chirping sound when she comes home and give her lots of kisses. I also like to sleep right next to her at night, stealing a pillow of my own. I want to thank Shelter from the Storm for fixing up my bad left eye for me and taking care of me until my new family adapted me, Purrs and Hugs -- Jack

Just thought you'd like to see this picture of my babies...it took 3 whole months for our cat Tubble to accept Scout but they are buddies now. Not to mention they are a matched set. When they are napping, like now, they are always near each other, right now Tubble is on the kitchen table and Scout is in his 'cave' under the table....he like 'caves', under the sink, under the desk etc. When he's home from work, Scout is Ken's shadow, follows him everywhere...helping. He's the sweetest and smartest dog, that we have ever had. I'm so glad we found him. Thank you! Deborah & Ken N.

Roscoe immediately became part of the family the minute we got him home! He is so adorable! He loves to play wrestling on the floor with Dad, but also lo-o-o-oves to cuddle on the couch and up on the beds whenever anyone is willing. What a personality! Roscoe has learned to sit, stand up, and shake, and loves to be rewarded with small treats. He loves going for walks, and is curious about anything and everything. Thank you so much for all your help before and after adoption! You guys rock! -- The Crocketts

We adopted Lorenzo, renamed Bubba in June and I have to say he is a great addition to our family. He is such a clown, and is always ready to play. He plays with toys and will throw them at you to get you to play with him. We are training him to be a therapy dog, as he has such a great personality. We get compliments on him all the time. We love him to pieces and are so happy he is part of our family. Thank you for all you do, and for rescuing our sweet Bubba. -- Tom, Pam & Bailey

Sydney is doing AWESOME!!!!! She is definitely a part of our family, and she has gotten used to a new food and her new home very quickly. We can let her roam around the house while we are at work and not worry about any accidents, or anything being destroyed! She is learning the "Heel" and has Sit, and Lay Down, and Stay down pat! We are planning on going to PetSmart to start up obedience classes to polish her a bit more. Again, thank you so much for taking care of her. I worked at a board and train kennel for 5 years through college and worked as a groomer as well. So I've taken care of several animals within a kennel and a pound setting, and I know that some animals just change and never get their spirit back. She was obviously loved and cared for and I thank you for it. She's truly a blessing! -- Katie and Todd

Every day my husband and I are in awe of how well she and Deano get along. They play all the time, eat together, sleep together and Pretty even tries to open the carrier door when Deano is stuck inside for a trip to the vet. Deano is no longer getting into things he shouldn't be or tormenting Mike since Pretty wears him out. She is the perfect cat for us. Thanks so much for all you do and for rescuing our Little Miss Pretty Pants so we could give her a forever home and a best friend. --Carolyn and Rob

Opal is a sweet and gentle dog with a goofy side that comes out at random times. Awake or asleep, she spends most of her time looking adorable. Her tongue must be too big for her mouth since its sticking out ninety-five percent of the time (more adorable points for that). Now that we live on an acre of land, she has plenty to explore (although she still spends much of the day sleeping). She's only allowed in our bed during thunder storms when she tries to curl up as close as possible. We are a happy family. Thanks for everything you do! --Branden & Danijela

Amira, now called Abby, has been my companion for almost 6 months now. She began as a withdrawn, sad-faced, tail-dragging, gentle soul (having spent 4 years in a puppy mill) and has changed so much! She bonded very quickly, romps with her toys, loves to snuggle, is learning to trust and even approach others, and recently began to initiate play with my granddog. She is still a gentle soul, but a very happy one who continues to come out of her shell as she learns more about a world that is fun, safe and loving. I'm so glad we found each other!

Emerald is the sweetest and most cuddly cat I have ever encountered. When I first brought her home, she spent most of her time hiding under the couch, the dresser, or other hiding places I didn't even realize existed until she found them. But after about a week she finally got used to everything, and now she never hides at all. She follows me around wherever I go like a furry little shadow. She's got the cutest little high pitched meow to let me know that she wants to play (which she does quite often). We've already established a number of daily routines: waking me up at 6 in the morning to demand breakfast, racing each other up and down the stairs, demanding that we play with a ball of string after I get home from work, and then cuddling next to my pillow when I go to sleep. And she's wonderful around other people. She's very indiscriminate about who pets her. Adopting Emmie has been a wonderful experience. Warm Regards, Gordon M.
