From
Loba's new family:
Lindy, John & Amy: Loba was fine for most of the trip. She only was ill on Rt. 64, then sat quietly and watched the the landscape pass. To the moment, the dear girl has found her way around the house, met her first neighbor at 6:45 am, 1/02/03, not to mention she located the "BIG BED", onto which she ceremoniously placed her toy GOOSE and PARAKEET, so as to have her friends help her watch the new world through the corner windows. To digress in time a bit, at 4:30 am, 1/02/03, Loba climbed into the sack with Maggie, Mel and myself. Feeling no rebuttal from Queen Maggie , she rolled into a ball and slept well until I got her up near 6:00 am. Mel and I think she would sleep until 9:00 am or so if on her own schedule. |
Yesterday, only 24 hours after arriving home, she was hungry. To tell Melanie of her interest she picked up her dish and cordially walked it from the kitchen to the dining room (What better hint can one provide of wanted services?). On Friday, 1/04/03, Loba will meet her new Vet at which time we expect she will make a few new friends as well as impress some strangers in the waiting room. We'll Keep you informed of the process. For the moment, have a good day. Keith & Melanie
