Are you unable to adopt a pet at this time...
but your heart goes out to the animals at the
shelter?
By sponsoring a dog or cat from the shelter, you can still help to save a
life.
Most of the dogs and cats who end up at the
shelter have never even been inside a veterinarian's office.
The dogs and cats who come into
the shelter are usually not spayed or neutered; they often have fleas or
other parasites; and occasionally they have other health problems which
though not life-threatening need to be checked out by a veterinarian.
When you sponsor a dog or cat Cathy can take them to the vet right away and get it spayed
or neutered, and vaccinated and wormed and have it health-checked. A
healthy altered animal is much more likely to be adopted or pulled by a
rescue organization.
All sponsor donations are fully tax-deductible.

Mitzi was helped by the Tucker County Shelter this
year and then was adopted.
Please email Cathy if you
are interested in sponsoring a dog or cat. The typical veterinary costs are between
$85 and $150, which includes spaying or neutering, vaccinations, worming,
and a health checkup by the veterinarian.
